How do I sew a strip for one of these gliders in timber? I have a wooden glider and a stool that I bought when my daughter was born. I now want to move to another room and I would like to put a slide on it because it is pink. Suggestions?
What I want to do is to duplicate what is already there. You have the model. It is on the glider. Take everything out of fabric, and trace the pieces on the fabric of your choice. Cut out the pieces, making sure you have added the seam allowances and sew together.
The stool can be done with just a stapler. Place the material, face down on the ground. Place the pegs on the fabric and pull the sides and STAP e at the bottom of the ladder
The glider and stools have a cushion? If yes, you could cover the cushions, which should be fairly easy. If you want to cover the easy chair, it would be more challanging but still possible. Measuring arms, sides, seat, back and the back of the chair and cut a pattern (I use newspaper) for each piece. When you receive the parts to install, use the modified model to make your cover. Or make a seamless cover from a sheet. (See website).
