Wire Mesh Fence

Wire Mesh FenceHow to hold wire fence?

There is to take wire fence on the ground? I think something like a tent peg but longer. This is to keep the bottom of the fence firmly to the ground in anticipation of the arrival of a new young dog. The ground is uneven so the wire mesh has gaps here and there at the bottom that the dog could go if he wanted. The defined area is large enough to fill the gaps lumber would be costly and time consuming.

Lowes sells stakes landscape:

Wal-Mart sells them as well. Simply choose the length you need and place them in a corner so they do not come out too easily.

I think you're already on track with tent pegs. I imagine that those who might be most profitable. You can see what they charge for the pegs used to keep the pipes drip system down. They are very similar to tent pegs. I think a good tent PEG could be heavier in nature and the hammer into the ground with less chance of bending. (Unless you have the ground very hard.) If you have the ground very hard, you can soak the soil a day or two before your ready to lead the ankles. If you do not have any luck finding a good thickness of PEG or not to have your chance to drive stakes into the ground or holding the mesh fence firmly, then I suggest you change a hardware store that carry nails really great. (Min. 6 "long) They break into harder soils. (Do not wet the floor) You Hammer head all the way down to maybe an inch or so off the ground, then take a thin wire bouncer can be cut 4 "-6" then thread through the mesh and around the nail head. (you'll need a pair of dikes to take slice of bailing wire.) Trim any excess wire bailout after your bottom wrapping around the nail head. Now all you have to do is hope your dog does not like to dig. Good luck to you and your new Bow Wow !

I do not know of any item purchased in store, other than the tent pegs.
I think you could fold a length of metal U-shaped and book in the ground ... can be thin as a section of coat hanger or perhaps something like "re-bar (reinforcing bar used in concrete construction). Any more than about 1 / 4 inch in diameter will probably be heated with a torch to bend it. A shelter or in a hardware store should have something that will work.

Use metal hangers (or those made of metal and covered with plastic does not rust as fast) ... cut to a length of about 8 inches or more, bend a hook at one end and push through the wire. It held up very well in .....
I use it for my tomato cages in my garden to keep from falling or flying away in windy ...

The tent pegs should work. Unless you had the misfortune to choose a breed of your dog will not hunt a lot of interest out of its area protected.
Otherwise, you can plant shrubs hedge along the fence line.

Bury the bottom of the fence, but dogs like to dig, so that does not work.

I get the tent pegs of metal sold at most hardware stores, they work hard.
