Wedding Planning GuideWhere can I find a free guide to wedding planning online or checklist?

My boyfriend and I are planing to get married at 12-18 months. I never planned a wedding and do not even know where to start.

The Knot. Remember to check their budget calculator too.

There are millions of websites with wedding planners and countdowns Just google wedding list. "However, I found the checklist Knot.com really useful. Brides.com also checklists and information over marriage.

One thing to keep in mind is to find local resources. Some cities have shown married / fairs each year. Look in the newspaper section just married or commitments and you'll often find information on local traditions. For example, some places to announce the marriage in the paper months before the marriage, whereas here its usually the next day or even months later. Over this section of the newspaper will help you with suppliers.

Good luck and before you do sit down and discuss the budget (very difficult to stick to, but believe me, you want to avoid debt).

There are millions of them. Buy Brides magazine and there are advertisements for other web sites in there, and many other ideas. The magazine itself was often a sort of checklist in it.

www.theknot.com its by far the best online wedding planning that I saw. They have tools guest list, checklists, budget, gift papers and all sorts of good things. I promise its worth it.

may be a whole lot more. The Internet is your best friend when it comes to planning a wedding. I do not pretend to buy all the important things the Internet. First things first, you want to sit down with your fianced and talk about what type of wedding you want. And remember to make the process fun. You will reach a large number of bumps on the road. But try not to let it go to you. Believe me, in the end, everything will be worth it. Enjoy and good luck.

Firstly - Congratulations Bride-to-be!
Second - Are you wearing an engagement ring?
Third - Have you and your friend still gone public?

If your answer to all the above is yes, your engagement is official.

Next. Rave! You give enough time to plan your wedding. The fact is a minimum of nine months is necessary to plan for the cake, dresses, make changes, organize and manage your wedding. Do not move the date up unless necessary.

Now, follow these steps to get a good start.
1. Advertise your commitment to the family at the next family reunion.

2. Announce your engagement online (link to below) and in local newspapers and journals.
