Wedding Officiant

Wedding Officiantwedding officiant?

What do you consider an appropriate average cost for an officiant for a wedding? we have a short (15 minutes outside ceremony) on a lake.

I heard that if your pastor to be married in a church, then you'd pay $ 50, but if the celebrant is not your personal pastor, or they come to a place, you must pay $ 100. It really depends on how you know the celebrant and what you give them at ease.

The rate of going where I am is $ 400 for a church. Probably more if travel is involved.

We charge $ 185 for a basic ceremony within 45 miles of our location, then add from there, depending on distance. Best wishes!

It depends on many factors. If it is left to you, $ 100 plus costs.

For my wedding, it is $ 100 because we are members, and $ 200 if you do not.

Most judges, ministers, officiants, priests, rabbis and officials have a fixed amount. And unless the person conducting the ceremony is your "hometown minister, then you'll probably have to pay the person a fee (some ministers do not charge members of their church).

It makes no difference if you have 20 people or 220 people. . if does not matter if the ceremony takes place at a lake or in a hotel banquet room or in the backyard of your sister. . It does not matter if the ceremony is three pages and fourteen pages long. The tax is based on "you hire a professional."

In the mid-Atlantic United States, the costs of arbitration in the price ranges from zero to $ 800. The average is $ 350.

It depends on where you live, and the officiating justice of the peace or a clerk?
I had a JP in 1995 and he immediately told us what the cost was $ 35.
If you have an officiant lined up, ask.

It depends on where you are. Most officiants will give you a fixed price. This is where to shop and yes it is OK to do this, is bearing fruit. Start now and call the officiating ministers in your area. Cost is important, but also the personality of your celebration. Shop around. I am an officiating minister, and when my couples to interview me, I'm also questioning, I believe in marriage and if my couples have trouble with the tax, we get to where it is comfortable for them.
