Wedding InsuranceWedding Insurance?

Is it necessary to buy wedding coverage with your insurance company?

I asked my insurance company about it. It depends on the place and the people who own them. If you own your home and you have home insurance, what you need, you should be able to get a rider on your political event that would focus on any site where you host your wedding.

I rent and have the tenant insurance, and I was quoted $ 50 for a rider $ 1 million event. And even if I choose not to go that route, I have $ 300K worth of liability insurance, which is a part of my usual policy, in case of incidents (God forbid).

Moreover, these rates are most likely higher / lower depending on your location. We are in the North Central PA.

Edit:

Most owners place will tell you when you inquire about booking if you need insurance, and how much insurance you need. In addition, they require proof of insurance from your insurance company. I just have my agent fax a copy of my policy to my owners.

Ive never heard of .....

I am getting, but I'm having a destination wedding, and cover if something were to happen, or if the port of call is not missed ...

This is not really necessary if you do not have.

The policies are relatively inexpensive ($ 200 - $ 300), so I'm buying one for our wedding in the fall. Basically it will cover our cost if a supplier fails to provide the services contracted and then the insurance company can fight with the seller to court themselves. I trust our suppliers, but if something goes terribly wrong (things can happen), then this is not my problem to solve. Definitely use your insurance company so regular! There are some providers who advertise this service, but I prefer working with someone I already know.

Our site REQUIRES that we have a policy of $ 500,000.00 for the wedding day. I do not know how much it will cost us yet, but it is a very historic place we must. But I think it varies from one place to another.

It is totally unnecessary.

If it makes you feel better, you can go ahead and do it - it is relatively inexpensive. However, most reliable suppliers have a clause in the contracts if certain circumstances.

N www.Wedsafe.com you can use and make sure it meets the requirements of your site.

The node has a link on this too.

Good luck!

I got it for my wedding. We do not use it, but if we had the marriage annulled for any reason other than change of heart, all our money would be refunded. I highly recommend it. It gave me great peace of mind.

I've never heard of either. It would be best to check with your insurance agent.
