How much would 100 feet of wooden fence vinyl coated fence cost vs. chain link? should i take? I'm trying to decide what type of fence to put up. Since, wood fences look better and offer more privacy, they are naturally more expensive. I like the look of the black vinyl coated fence link in the chain.
Does anyone know what an average price would be approximately 100 feet of fencing would be for each of these options? who should i pick, in your opinion?
I have no idea on price, but if I was in the market, I'd be thinking about costs and maintenance involved in the future. If I had planned to stay in the house for a long period, I would not be painting / staining a fence or replace the advice too often. My decision would probably be vinyl coated chain link, although the initial cost might be more, I think I'll try to take into account future costs of maintenance for a good comparison.

the vinyl fence will last much longer and does not need to be painted. I do not know the cost, but I know it's not cheap
It depends on who you buy from, this time of year, if you live in a 4-year or two-season climate.
Call 3 local contractors fence, get 3 quotes for both types of fencing, check their references, view their work done, and decision crazy.
