It started its activity the manufacture of fencing and fencing panels etc. need a retail business to take lager amounts to go? Yes, you can do things until the cows come home - but what is the point unless someone is selling them.
Those who have access to the market in general act as a "dog-in-the-manger". You can sell your business in the market on their terms, otherwise they sell someone else's things.
The term means the end-user price = double what you get, (most of the credit terms extended, the surplus back, no quibble guarantee, etc., etc.)
Is that the end user pay double what you need to succeed?
Maybe you will reduce your costs.
Maybe you should work on a direct service to the end user, so you do not need a retailer.
A retailer can give you more volume, but if at a lower price, he saves more money for you?
