Toro Ecx

I have a control panel Toro ECX sprinklers. It has four zones. Only zones 1 and 2 work - what could be wrong with Zones 3 and 4 (which worked previously). Group of 8 years. Any help greatly appreciated.

Maybe the wiring in the control panel timer for the solenoid of the water is bad. open lead, dog, chewed, the sun is breaking. With two areas does not work, I would start with the wiring.

Start by checking if the solenoids on the valves are bad. Switch Out of a solenoid valve work with that of a "broken" valve. If the solenoid is working "working broken valve, then you know that the problem was a bad solenoid, and it is relatively easy to replace.

If this does not solve the problem, take the valve apart and clean. Remove dirt and debris, and check if any of the internal parts look like they are broken / worn.

When the valves stop working, the problem is usually either the solenoid valve or a bite. If none of these is the case, then it is time to check the wiring between the controller and valves.
