How can I remove a riser off the pipe sprinkler threaded PVC? I had the right break at the hole rising PVC - there is no decision to unscrew the riser above the PVC. The riser is soft plastic. Any idea to unscrew from the inside without having to cut the PVC? I try to avoid having to redo all PVC.
I had this same thing happen several times. I use a key as a key pad or nipple extractor. I got mine at http://www.sprinkler.com . This is certainly the easiest to use tool for a job like that.
This may seem complicated to you, but cut the PVC and replacement Willbe something less grief. It will cost about $ 0.75 in parts, if and only if you already have a bit of PVC glue.
Most places that sell broadcasters also sell a special tool sprinkler riser removal. (Also called key buffer)
