When giving to save the date cards? We are getting married in August of next year. Our engagement party is next month and we wondered if we give our marriage save the date cards for our engagement party. We're getting married on a Friday, and its the middle of summer and we want people to know in good time, but I can not help thinking that provide them with 16 months to go is a little early . But it seems like a good opportunity to give to everyone at once. What do you think?
I had this problem. We are committed in February (14) in 2008 and had our engagement party in July, but we're not getting married until September of this year so I thought that my family all have to travel 185 miles to arrive at my wedding that I send all my cards record date with my Christmas cards! (Cited on stamps) He has also worked well in January as I then sent all the details of the hotel accommodation details for parents on a budget with all the options available. My calls released in June, but you have to send yours in May to give you plenty of time to chase people ... Tip: Understand your RSVP cards and SAE (stamped envelope) in the invite!
I could never understand this new record date cards.
sounds to me like people are Teir Tooting horn, telling them to watch me, I am committed, and from time to time I'll send you an invitation to the wedding
sent an invitation when the time is right to give everyone plenty of time to "save the date"
Never. People were marrying a good turnout we will never "save" date cards. Save the Date cards are just another way for the wedding industry to take your hard earned money. Send your invitations a few months advance and should be good enough.
Many people give their wedding invitations early. I received an invitation to a wedding in two years! It makes no difference when you give people who care enough about you to be your special day will be put off most other plans for her. :)
its beginning. They will be lost. The best time is to make its about 6-7 months before the wedding.
We got married last June and sent Save the Date cards with Christmas cards, they all knew we were getting married and we thought it was the best way to do it.
Normally, you should send about six months before the wedding, but I do not see why you can not give them to the party.
16 months is far too early, especially since it is not even a destination wedding.
Expect 6-8 months, and send Save the dates here.
