Rotisserie Motor

Rotisserie MotorHome Made rotisserie motor?

My uncle built a huge rotisserie pork, but it is difficult for him to turn it by hand because, frankly, a pig 80 pounds is not easy to turn. Then he gave me the task of finding a way to build a home made motor to turn the spit. Any ideas or suggestions?

Getting a third or half power electric motor and a few pulleys and belts for the gear down with. You will need to reduce speed to about 4 or more.
NAPA can help you.

80 pound pig? How small?

Sincerely,
Dan

Good luck with your project.
