Roof Rats

I saw a number of additions for Victor (and other brands) strobe lights that indicate they are pushing the rats in the attic of your (and they are quite expensive). I was wondering if anyone had any experience with these products and their effectiveness have been and all other details that may be provided (for example, how many were needed for the size, placement, etc.)

If I were a rat in a barn and I was really annoyed by a blinking light ... I would go into the walls where the light can not get me. Just an idea.
