Has anyone used a vertical rib rack for cooking ribs on the grill? And if so, how does it compare to cooking ribs directly on the grill? I like the idea of using the grid to maximize space, but was wondering if you can still get a nice caramelized outer crust.
Look at them closely the use of the grid ribs.
You will need to transform their end for end and top-down often enough on a grid. In a slow smoker they do not need to be activated more often.
The underside of the narrow ribs cook much faster than the rest of the grid. They need to run often enough or you have burned and ends early environments.
I cook in competitions and stands ribs in slow cookers are OK, but cook unevenly on the fence.
It is better to cook directly on the grid.
Try it and you'll quickly see the edges of blackening and the gap of the door.
Happy BBQing
It does not caramelize the same way as flat on the grid. It is ideal for saving space, but not very well if you like caramel.
Yes, you can work the same ..
No, but I have a nose
