Propane Tank Gauge

Posted on June 17, 2010.
Propane Tank GaugeWe have a new 250 gal. propane tank. The gauge is down from 30% to 90%. How could this happen?

The tank is serviced by a company of propane. When we moved this summer, he started at 50%, and in recent months has steadily declined to 30% (I check it everyday) When I checked yesterday, it was suddenly 90 %! gauges can (new) off that much, or wrongly, the company fill our tank? Or something else? I'm new to the world propane, so I have no idea .... Thank you!

Well surprise, the supplier of the complete! They do not want to miss you. You'll soon get the bill to the e-mail.

Was it warm sunny yesterday?
If the tank is heated it will expand,
if it continues to skip calling the PP and co changed the Pledge

They thought you had a contract. you have agreed to serve as needed. This is how normal it is made. Sometimes they perform when the price reduction. Sometimes they meet one day somehow the price fluctuates, it averages out. You can get an agreement on the budget, where you pay the same each month and they pay once a year. This way, you know what to expect. The decline in 50-30% of your water heater. You just bought 150 gallons of propane.
