New Fence

When you get a new fence, should we put the smooth side to your garden or outside? On a fence between two properties?

On the fence between two properties do you just do and hope that the neighbor offers you something?

Normally, the fence is made for the smooth side for looks from the outside, and the rough side inwards towards your heart ... The fence is made this way, the advice will most likely hunt if rough side in. .. as it was made

but it is yours ... if you want the very pretty around the yard for everyone to see, then smooth on the outside ..... and for a better fit of the fence.

and depends if you like your niehbors I did mine twice on both sides that way nobody can look through the cracks

you do not mention that the fence is made of posts, but the sides are to stay on the side of the fence and the neighbor becomes the smooth side. Do not just do it, tell your neighbors about splitting costs and make sure you all agree about where the lines are good.
