I have a metal shed, but there is not enough room for bikes and stuff, so I want to build a simple lean scrap wood that I have around and attach it to my shed some how.
A shed is very simple. I do not know the dimensions you want, but here are some general considerations. Take the 4x4 posts and cement into the ground so far from the building you want. Use 2x is the delivery of the 4x4. Easiest would be to use the links Simpson to fix the boards. Use your scrap wood for runners and rails with screws or a nail to the metal. You want your roof to atleast 3 / 12 for most applications. undersized wood will require a greater quantity and slope STEAP. Do the sides, like the roof and you have a shed. The pads can probably be used on the roof if you have enough and take the time to tear off one side of them.
