Could someone explain my sprinkler system for me? Just bought a house and the people before me messed with the sprinkler system a bit and do not really know me what to do about it, cause I really do not understand some things.
1. they took the control box which was a dial Irritrol rain. but I can still put the system at hand and everything waterd. How does the box keep watering on a timer when it is connected to the other side of the house isn't even connected to a water source, as far as I can tell. there is an assload of good son.
2. there is this thing coming out of the earth a little. it looks like a house, but its made of hard plastic, its slope in half with a tie around it. I took the tie off and water started spraying out of him. What is it and how does it work?
3. there is what appears to be a facet of my backyard, the only problem is water does not come out, and there is already a facet in my backyard. the yard is small i cannot imagine that there are now two hook there. What's this? and what does it do?
