Infrared Grill

I am buying a new gas grill and noticed that "infrared burners are new. I how they work, but I have not heard of anyone who actually tried to cook one of them. Has anyone out there used one? Advice?

We have friends who have obtained a grid with an infrared burner last summer and wish they had not. They love to grab, but it definitely reduces the amount of the cooking surface to grill regularly. They have also not been too happy with the quality of the global grid.

Ya, and its fairly easy, cooks well!

Yes, we have used. Once. The chicken caught fire. Now we just Rotisserie chicken on the flame, not the infrared.

No one but use an infrared grill toaster oven infrared and love! Much faster and more evenly cooked things come in a classic.
