How do I choose the professional installation of quality, intelligent, automated lawn irrigation system? Looking for specific recommendations or guidelines specific to identify the right people to install a sprinkler system at home. Referrals are welcome, too.
The recommendations are a good start. You typically pay between $ 75 and $ 100 per capita installed. The cheaper companies cut corners. Tell them you want a copper pipe or CPVC leaving the house resisting freeze (if you live in an area that freezes) The return flow. Freeze-resistant simply means that the internal break if it freezes instead of dwelling (much cheaper to fix). You also want a Schedule 40 PVC mainline, NOT polyethylene or another type of PVC. It is not rated for constant pressure (some companies will tell you it is beautiful, it is not). A polyethylene main line last 5 years, but you have satart leaks for 10 years. In 10-20 years, you must replace it. A system of bird rain is good, a Hunter system is better. Make sure they use Hunter I-20 head (preferably stainless steel), Hunter PGP PGJ and are a much lower quality. If they use Rain Bird, Rain Bird accept that 5000 head of stainless steel, others are of poor quality. Hunter and Rain Bird spray heads are of similar quality, both excellent. Do not have a system of Toro. They used a good quality, but they are not. Weathermatic is mostly unheard of brand, but they have an excellent head and valves. Be sure they use 100 PSI Polyethylene Tubing areas (and not 80 PSI). Make sure they double and triple clamping each connection flange valves. Make sure the water proof, they son of connections in the valve box (make sure they put all the valve boxes. As for timers, Hunter Pro-C is an excellent chronometer. Have the meter installed in the garage (it is more conveniant for everyone). If you follow all these things, you pay a little more, but you will get many years without any problems on your sprinkler. Pay more now, and you money over the long term. I hope this helps.

Look for references. People who call this work done before by contractors.
Be sure they install a system where you can easily get spare parts. See if they do repairs and installations and blow out the system in the fall so as not to freeze and cause damage. Also make sure you get a quote and a contract with anyone you want.
As the suggestions above, check with your Better Business Bureau, Chamber of Commersant and perhaps Consumer Reports, even if it were a string * * landscaping. The Yellow Pages can also give you a starting point. As local companies are generally better to use if they are prepared for a long period of time, because if they were not all good or good reputation, they would not be in business for long.
1st check your local yellow pages, contractors who install irrigation systems are allowed, what you want is a system mounted in the zone, that way the whole court is not irrigated all at the same time. you want a good timer so if you live in Florida like me, you also want an auto-stop when it starts to raining.Get several estimates, talk to the contractor and ask questions ... hope this is helpful
I ask my neighbors about what they paid and who did it and it had two work.I Citations-$ 4,000 and $ 4200.I to 2800.I $ is obtained which is equipment HUNTER assumed to be the best and he worked for 5 years without problems.
They are not complicated.Many.
