Manchester - A cosmopolitan city Manchester - A cosmopolitan city
I recently spent three days in Manchester with my woman. Me must say it was a fantastic place to visit, and was in fact a city much more pleasant than I imagined. In this article I will write some of the attractions that I visited in Manchester.
My wife is a bit of a shopaholic, like many women no doubt. The first day we took a look in the shops in central Manchester. There were a number of shops near beautiful Harvey Nichols to ask around and spend a lot of money in.
That evening, we decided to eat our dinner in a fish restaurant near the main commercial street called Grill on the alley. This was an excellent choice and we enjoyed our meal. After lunch, we headed to a bar called Epernay where we drank champagne and danced all night.
The second day we visited the Trafford Centre is a shopper's paradise with lots of bargains available. We also went to a couple of museums of Manchester in the afternoon.
The last day we visited the Lowry Museum in Salford, which was very interesting and certainly an eye opener.
Manchester is a great place to visit for a short break and is a trendy place to hang out. I would recommend to any viewer party, young professionals, students or middle aged couples.
