What is the cost the most effective way to build / run a greenhouse inside? I live in a small apartment in San Francisco. There is a small window facing east in my room and I can not leave it open during the day because I live in the ghetto. All other residents of the building are old, and as hot and dry, is what the room is like 24 / 7. But I'm used to having lots of beautiful green plants around, so I want to build a greenhouse for growing houseplants. Note: I do not want to grow pot, just interesting, colorful tropical plants, so many suggestions for the bomb *** hydroponics equipment of high performance does not help me. What is the most cost effective means to do this? I need to build a set-up where I can maintain high humidity, good ventilation and light, without devastation of the environment or my wallet (I am willing to invest money and lots of time:) I also have a separate section for cacti. What I can say I grew up with a large garden in San Diego where you can grow anything, so I'm spoiled.
Lighting is essential?
This is where you can spend the most money.
And then we should be concerned about the breakdown
Then I'd be concerned about the fire.
Most green houses usually end up destroyed by fire.
Lighting can be too hot and there may not be enough space in the green house RIA, and hot melt materials, so the fire.
I think it would be wood construction. You could probably go to a place of glass and they could make you aquariam and as the green house. Rig one of these doors you have access?
Just silicone glazing perpendicular to each other, as you make a box? Build a wooden frame, it would be easier to open and close, and make it too big?
