I own a big green egg grill and I love him but I'm struggling with smoking a turkey on it. Whate us suggestions on how the seasonings and cook? What is the temperature? on a cone or a rack v? Advice?
Use a grid-shaped cone. I had an egg for 5 years and love. I smoke mine to 200 and use a meat thermometer to check the temperature of the breast. The only drawback to a position of Turkey is the size of the bird should be small enough to fit in the grid. I also had the chance to smoke the breasts on a v-rack. I usually use a little salt and pepper with a touch of cayanne heat.
