Edmonton is the capital of Alberta. It is the second most populous provincial capital and is a cultural center, government and education. He is on the North Saskatchewan River.

The city has over twenty shopping centers and malls. The West Edmonton Mall is the largest shopping mall and entertainment in the world. It has over 800 stores and over 100 restaurants and brasseries. Attractions include the World Water Park with slides, a wave pool, and pool, golf Galaxy, the worlds largest indoor amusement park, and a bungee jump. It also has a derby on the high seas, bumper boats on an inland lake; Sea Lion Rock, with three California sea lions from the everyday scene, and Kid Tripoli, a city created just for kids to learn and experience real life. The mall is a tourist attraction of Alberta's most visited.

There is no shortage of action at night in this city. Although the clubs tend to close around 2am, there is no lack of action after the time for those who are not yet ready to go home. Edmonton gay scene is quite well developed, with several groups of gay bars and clubs around the city of Jasper Street. The city also has a strong demand for travel pub crawl.

The Alberta Railway Museum interprets the history of the railway with a station, yard, water tank, a locomotive shop and store cars. The poster includes steam and diesel locomotives technology, passengers, labor and freight cars, and various pieces of machinery and buildings. Over 60 pieces of rolling stock are available for inspection. Train rides and a special exhibition and interpretation of Morse telegraphy.

The Government House was the official residence of the province's first lieutenant-governors of six and was built in 1912-1913. This is a three-storey building of sandstone and was designed in the neo-Jacobean characterized by large windows, high gabled roofs with upturned ends, and groups of rectangular windows. The architect was RP Blakey. Alberta Government House is currently composed of a combination of large reception and dining room on the main floor, and a music room and library. The second floor consists of a central reception hall surrounded by six small conference rooms, each named after one of the governors of six lieutenant and a small study. The third floor consists of a large conference room behalf of the Board of Alberta. It is now used for high-level government conferences, receptions and dinners.
