Then someone please tell me how to make a homemade meat and fish smoker? I want to make a smoker, but do not know what I need. I have an old refrigerator, but I heard there are other ways to make them. Can someone give me some ideas. Thank you!

I can not cook
Go to Walmart and buy one. They have the cheap and it would be much easier.
keep the smoker box, run the temperature around 210 F and research process. It is a good way to flavor foods ........
I like how no one really answered your question .... I hate it.
Here's a link to a smoker on a trash: http://www.cruftbox.com/cruft/docs/elecsmoker.html
And another of a cardboard box (I did this and it works very well - it is available!) Http: / / cardboardboxsmoker.freehosting.net / - be sure to check out the pictures "link" - pictures really help the Setup! Enjoy!
Well, they sell Nice Brinkmann smokers, which are real handy. My father has one and uses it a lot.
"I use my Weber grill for Turkey and chicken. Put the bricks in the central area, cover with a disposable roasting pan filled with water. The charcoal and wood chips around perimeter one way, then there is only indirect heat. Weber site has received instructions and pictures.
Now, to answer your question, I have a friend who uses a metal garbage can to smoke chicken and venison. It has holes drilled into the lid through which he puts pieces of stiff wire, about 3 feet long. The wire will pass through two holes in the form of U for the son hanging in the box. Son, it hangs like six whole chickens. He gets a lot of charcoal is in its regular Weber grill and when hot shovels in the back of the box, then adds mesquite chips pre-moistened, then put the cover with the chicken and meat hang, but not too close to the heat. Oh yes, there are a few air holes in the box along the bottom outside, like 4 holes 1 / 4 inch in diameter.
I've also seen people use electric hotplate and you can get at Wal-Mart and a steel drum. There is a link to a good article here:
