Closing costs mount aluminum? I am looking for an aluminum fence put up around my house is West Virginia. I need to be 4 feet high and meet the standards of BOCA. The fence will cover 389 feet and a door 10 feet. I have an estimate of 14,000 and a second quote of 12,500. I have other businesses to come to see what they have to say. I received estimates of $ 7,000 to buy materials and made the fence. So, these quotes still seem high to me. What are you opionions? If you know anyone around Martinsburg, WV, which charges a fair price let me know.
First, make sure you compare apples to apples. A few years ago only different from the fencing, while the guide you got the estimate of the same quality as the closing quotation marks are for. Secondly, there must be a minimum of 40 post holes, laid out, dug, cemented. It is very labor intensive to install fencing. It also depends where you buy the materials. Contractors often get discounts for equipment, from discount lumber yards, so that their cost of materials is generally higher at the start.
Have you checked the price of scrap alum recent?
Boxes range from 80 alum. cents per pound, with scrap being so high in price, the finished product will be higher,
thats why your estimates are high,
