Haha, I guess they would be boring if you were not interested in sports. Personally, I am a person on horseback, equestrian events are the ones I'm careful not to be missed. But fencing .... Yeah, that sounds boring. I will not watch it.

No idea what is equastrian. However, I find the equestrian events much more interesting than basketball, tennis, boxing, fencing, and many other events in the Olympics.
