How do you dial a drip into a bush? I planted a bush, and the need to make an online "drop" around her. How can you do?

The drip line is where the water runs off the foliage to the ground. So basically, you draw a circle around the outer perimeter of the outermost branches and leaves. I suppose you need to grind this area as well, just to extend the mulch on the ground as far as the leaves or branches extend.
