Deck Bench Plans

A bench of the bridge two or more people so they can enjoy viewing from the deck. Good deck benches can be built virtually without much expense. If we want, we can build a deck bench ourselves.

You have a nice game with a magnificent view, but what is missing?

How about a nice bridge bench to sit and relax while enjoying the great bridge. The bench can be the perfect addition to your deck and believe it or not this is not the type of project you have to hire some expensive contractor for. No, you can do yourself!

It's an easy project and carpenters, even novices can manage. Just get a plan and stick to it and you have a great bench research and functional bridge in no time.

A bridge bank should not be built cheap. It can be made from pieces of wood not used or its support kits sold cheaply and are easy to install.

1. Prepare pieces of timber measured as follows: 1 ½ and 3 ½ by 42 inches (2 pieces) for the sides bench deck and a 3 ½ and ½ by 15 (two parts) for members of the end of the bridge bench, a straight edge and measure 1 ½ by 1 ½ by 45 inches and two lengths of 1 ½ and 3 ½ by 15 inches. Finally, we also need 4 straps measure 1 ½ by 5 ½ by 15 inches each and 4 feet tall and 3 ½ and 3 ½ inches by 13 per share.

2. Do not stand under the bridge. Attach the ends between the side pieces. To do this, put deck screws 3-inch piercing on the side. Attach the slats on the frame with screws 3 inch deck piercing on the side. To fix the frame and slatted deck screws through the 3-inch piercing both ends.

3. Do not base cabinet deck. Turn the piece upside down latte to mark the location of stretchers should be. Measure 5 inches and 3 ½ inches and based on the inner side of the end pieces. Attach the chassis of the blade using a deck screws / 2 inches. The braces will bridge the bench firmly in place.

4. Form the bench bridge drawing a line and a half-inch higher, a corner and a line 1 / 2 inch below the corner. Cut through the lines from one end. Repeat for the other braces from the seat of the bridge.

5. Now, we put the bridge together parties bench. On each side of our litters we attach a splint using screws three inches. Also attach the legs to the braces on adjacent deck bench with 3-inch screws. Then the sand around the exposed surfaces of the seat of the bridge, especially the seat itself. 6. A bridge bank should have all its screws hidden with wood putty and painted. Make sure the wall is too low to bridge children to climb. If yes, what ramps high enough to prevent children from climbing, even if our bench supported bridge.
