De Fence Dog Repellent

De Fence Dog RepellentSomeone knows what to do skunks?

I have a question in two parts: last night my poor dog was sprayed in the face for the second time in two years (twice late in the night). I tried to deodorize them using the recipe with peroxide, baking soda and detergent, and one with peroxide, baking soda and dish soap (detergent worked better). I also tried the shampoo-skunking, and it was totally ineffective. The problem is that they get sprayed in the face, primarily the right in the nostrils, I need something I can clean the face with. It is very difficult to keep still, because if they are well trained, it is obviously not pleasant for them, and I do not get in eyes with one of those things. Does the work of tomato juice on dogs? Is there anything else that is more effective?

and the second part is, how do I repel Skunks? I have many half-acre and is fenced, but my neighborhood is also the end of the short term by skunks, which I assume is due to rats neighborhood. I know there are a whole family of skunks living under the porch of my friend four houses, and there is a field in front of us (which is broke). Because of our calendar (the dogs eat dinner only when I get home from work at 10:00), I let my dogs out at night, and there are too few hiding places for me to go out for skunks and check before leaving my children several times a day. Is there a kind of natural repellent, or simply no deterrent at all to eliminate these horrible skunks without putting my dogs at risk?

I used tomato juice on my dog three times and found it worked well. You'll feel a little because of the smell is in the air. As regards the lead away from your house, try putting moth balls around your house and yard, if you do not eat your pets. The smell of mothballs may keep them away. I also tried it. it worked for me. Make sure not to leave any type of food on your porch or around your garden. they like to feed cats and dogs. I hope it helps.
