How can I bake brownies camping, all that I was one of those propane stoves stove top? Can I use cast iron Dutch oven somehow
Ok here is one way. Dig a hole deep enough for your pot or pan to be completely underground. Line the hole with stones. Get your pot, pot, etc. etc. Put the mixture in brownies inside. You'll need a lid or tinfoil. Then add the rocks above it. Build a fire on it. It will simulate a furnace. The rocks help regulate the heat. and, being the basement. Then, when you think its been digging save.
Here's another way to do the same thing differently

I use it myself the first way I mentioned. I learned in survival training and a Hawaiian local when I lived there while I was in the army.
Hmm. You can use a Dutch oven or pie makers things. Keep an eye it.
Yes, the cast iron Dutch oven works well!
I've never tried, but I heard you can do with eggs, so it's worth trying, I think. Bring the mixture to brownies already in a zip-loc bag in a cooler or insulated bag. Leave the bag of mixture to reach room temperature, then place in a pot of water boiling on the stove. I do not know how long it would take so keep an eye on him. They will not be in a form of brownies, but they taste great brownie! Maybe you should try at home before the trip ... Good luck!
I think you should cook at home and away. Try to cook the brownies camping looks like a royal pain.
Yes use your Dutch oven and your butter recipe brownie bottom and sides using hot coals or wood or whatever to help with the heat put on the lid does not put the bottom of Dutch oven directly on the coals that burn down the brownies, but suspend the oven to several inches above the coals so you always have the heat down to cook evenly, it may take several attempts to get the right but I think it can be done
If you have a small plate that fits inside the Dutch oven as a round cake pan and a rack so the cake does not touch the bottom of the pan cast iron, you can steam the brownies bake, just add enough water to reach halfway up the cake pan and put a lid on it while boiling water, keep an eye on it so that water does not evaporate . I have made steamed pudding on the stove top and in this way you do, do not even know that I did not cook in the oven, unless I have told you.It leaves browned as if you baked in the oven.
