Building An Arbor

We are building a large terrace and a pergola at the top. My husband is a builder so that's the easy part. My Delima is I want to be able to put a blanket of sound from it so that we can use it even if it rains. We do not have a problem with water standing on it. Anyone have ideas. Is it possible to use something that is retractable? Something canvas or other suggestions would be greatly appreciated material.Any. Thank you

Consult your local Home Depot or Lowes. They called Whats shade cloth "in their garden department. It is used in the shade of delicate flowers, but I noticed that it also blocks the water. They also sold their property and may be transferred or staple gunned down members of your coaching.
