Build Your Own Cabin

I was planning the construction of log cabin built itself for years. I am now on the cusp of something on a 24x32 cabin with a loft. I'm building up a 2.5 or so knee wall on the loft level to provide more usable area. If you did the same project where would you start and what info is on the Internet for this project?
