Bbq PartsBBQ Tips: How to host the perfect BBQ Giftlab.co.uk

Here in the UK the sun comes out from behind a cloud for five minutes and everyone changing into their shorts and t-shirts (while the teacher takes all her clothes off so he is naked under his lab coat - it is not a pretty sight). It is therefore not surprising that after a week of constant sunshine, the barbecue season has officially begun. As you know, here in giftlab.co.uk we like to make it useful for the first whiffs of barbecue (We felt the first Mother's Day ... can someone better? A Comment below if you can and you could win a prize!) we were leafing through cookbooks, Web search and try our own style of cooking so that we can give you our Top Ten Tips how to host the perfect barbecue and a range of recipes guaranteed to win over your guests. So without further ado here is how you can impress all your friends and family with your culinary skills in the open:

Cooking:

  1. Marinate the meat overnight and do not forget to water during the last minutes of grilling 5-10.
  2. Season the rack with olive oil and rosemary before you start cooking - it adds a little something that will leave everyone says "mmmm ... how did you get that taste?
  3. When using wooden skewers soaked in water still well before using - of course, we advise you to remove the wooden skewers and cook everything on our sword for barbecue .
  4. Photobucket
  5. If you want to cook the meat through quickly, bring to room temperature before placing on grill. Not only does it speed up the cooking time, but it will also drain the fat better.
  6. To add an extra dimension spice powder to the meat (without doing well - remember, not everyone likes spicy food)
  7. Light the barbeque well in advance (follow manufacturer's instructions) prior plan to start cooking - Make sure you use enough charcoal and wait until it becomes red (with a gray surface powder) before starting cooking.
  8. Cooking in a windy area could prolong the cooking time so be sure to find a sheltered spot before firing up the grill (obviously not light the grill and then decide to move it - it's dangerous.)
  9. Keep a bucket of water with you in case of emergency.
  10. If your barbecue is a spontaneous and it starts to get dark, make sure you have enough light to see what you do. You do not want to end up with burnt sausages and you certainly do not want to start a fire.
  11. Do not be lazy - a clean grill cooks not only better, but it will not leave a disgusting taste in food.

food tips:

For vegetables (and vegetable-eating fish!)

  • Lotte barbecues very well - it is just enough meat is good. Why not try the monkfish kebabs on skewers with rosemary ciabatta and pancetta - a favorite giftlab!
  • The salmon and tuna also go very well on the grill, but otherwise you would probably need to look at a whole fish (possibly a leaf!) As the bar or the trout, if you want to cook fish on your BBQ .
  • Try boiling baby new potatoes, then make a bag of some aluminum foil.
